Bain Blois, President & CEO
With over twenty years of experience in the seafood industry, Bain began his career in the brokering, logistics, and sales of perishable seafood commodities. In 2001, Bain made the transition to sales of hi-tech fish and seafood processing equipment in Atlantic Canada.
In 2006, Bain started Blois Fish Processing Automation operating as a brokerage company including equipment for companies in Europe and the United States to cover the North American market.
In addition to new equipment sales, to support and complement customer needs, Blois Fish processing Automation has built a niche market in the provisioning of used equipment sales through a complete data base of current used equipment available throughout Canada, USA and Europe.
Bain’s extensive background and influence within the fish and seafood processing industry led naturally to the development of other aspects of the business to include consulting and equipment evaluations.
As a true entrepreneur, Bain understands the importance of focussing on the customer first. Service excellence and quality are paramount and integral to the success of Blois Fish Processing Automation Ltd.
Originally from Sussex, NB, Bain shares his life – and business, with his partner, Marie, and they call Dartmouth, Nova Scotia home.
Marie Aisthorpe, Business Relations Liaison
Marie Aisthorpe is an entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience as a business owner/operator. Her background in architectural drafting, interior and facility design, mortgage brokering and real estate has provided her with a depth of knowledge and understanding of marketing, administration, management and business development.
Marie’s role as Business Relations Liaison with Blois Fish Processing Automation Ltd. includes the day to day operational management, implementation of new marketing strategies, as well as oversight of the financial and administrative departments.

Ken is an energetic and solutions-driven person with extensive experience in consistently providing top-quality Service while proactively maintaining the integrity of the organization.
Reinforced with an in-depth knowledge of, inventory management and operations management, Ken brings a demonstrated capacity to successfully and responsively identify and deliver on needs, while maintaining positive long-term relationships through a steadfast commitment to quality.
Ken will be conducting the full range of day-to-day business activity with an emphasis on parts, service, inventory control, sales, and client relations while maintaining the highest level of personalized customer service.
In addition to leading business operations, he will be responsible for purchasing, inventory control, warehousing and scheduling for product delivery and installation.
